I am completely self-taught as a developer, the result of regular book devouring, view-source enthusiasm and a fearless I-can-probably-do-that-too philosophy. I like it when things line up perfectly – so I practice pixel precision in my layouts. Hand me a PSD and that’s what the end result will look like.
I regularly dive into the back-end, databases and such when I need a challenge and I find the rewards of an intense learning experience very satisfying. At the same time I try not spread myself too thin as I believe in the honing of a fewer tools than too many.
